Shocks waves run through the ‘Only Fans’ platform!

Content creators earn money from their users who subscribe to their content—these are called the “fans”.

Content creators receive bank payments directly from their ‘fans’ and often online extra payments called one-time tips, via the Only Fans platform who take a 20% commission from the creators, numbering many millions within the UK.

HMRC Enquiry letters are being sent out now to many of those creators registered with Only Fans who are obviously shocked and scared when this letter lands on the mat. Many will be declaring their income correctly. Many will have completed annual tax returns but understated their income. Many will not have declared it at all.
