Deliveroo can carry a greater weight on your back – TAX!
Being a Deliveroo rider appeals to many as it provides flexibility in your life to work round your other responsibilities, but of course tax comes into play!
So, are you new to tax and are you self-employed or employed? You need to know as penalty charges loom when you get it wrong
If you are self- employed time frames, come into play.
Have you declared it all in time?
You need to register to HMRC and declare your income if you make over £1,000 as untaxed income during a tax year.
As a self-employed Deliveroo rider, you must register with HMRC as self-employed by the 5th of October after you started working for Deliveroo. Your tax return relating to your Deliveroo income should be calculated on your earnings to April 5th each year and we recommend an accountant to help you with this.
